On Monday it officially happened. I became one of the "Bubble Headed Brides." What is a Bubble Head Bride, you ask? Basically, those girls who can only think about the wedding, talk about the wedding or only function if it concerns THE WEDDING. I SWORE that it would never happen to me, but as my sweet groom pointed out - it totally happened. I’m having a hard time remembering things, getting excited about anything that doesn’t deal with my upcoming nuptials and even driving has become difficult.
In my defense, I have ONLY been engaged around 9 days so I believe I deserve a bit of leeway. I promise I will soon return to normal programming. In the meantime, if you see me in my car you might want to take extra precaution because my mind might be preoccupied.

We're ENGAGED!
Hey Everyone,
DAN PROPOSED! A week ago today I became the happiest woman. He took me to the Museum of Art in Jackson, MS www.msmuseumart.org. On Mondays the Museum is closed. He told me that one of my Christmas presents was a private tour of the new Jim Henson exhibit that has opened there. My first thought was "geesh, I didn't get him anything THAT cool for Christmas." Little did I know he had something extra special planned. In front of one of the original Kermit the Frog's he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said YES! If you know me, you know that it was the perfect engagement for me. I've permanetly set-up residency on Cloud 9!
Dan and I discussed it, and the type of wedding we want is simple, fun, and small. We wanted all of our friends and guests to feel included so we decided to start this blog. This will be the official place to get the latest information on mine & Dan's planning process. As most of you know, we REALLY want to have our wedding at Disney World. http://disneyweddings.disney.go.com/ But, we have just started the planning process to see if this is at all feasible. We were hoping there was a book available for planning a Disney wedding, but there isn't. So, this will serve as a guide to all of the would-be Disney Brides. Regardless of whether we have it at Disney or at some other location, I know it will be our fairy tale dream come true.
